League!
Sunnyvale Little League is proud to host the 2024
California Little League Section 5 All Star Tournament for the 10/9/8 age group
from July 11th through the 17th. This page is intended to provide all
participating teams, coaches, players and spectators information pertaining to
the tournament. Welcome to Sunnyvale!

GAME LOCATIONS
--
All games will be played at De Anza Park (Field 1) located at
1150 Lime Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94087. Access to the park parking lots is on

PHOTO ALBUM --
Sunnyvale Little League's
Photographer Derrick Yim will provide photos of the tournament when he is able
to attend games. Photos will be made available in the
Tournament Album
TOURNAMENT PARTICULARS --
- Team Managers should email their rosters (with
jersey #, first and last name) and coaches list to
info@sunnyvalelittleleague.com by Monday, July 8th.
- Team Managers should check in with the Tournament
Director (TD) as soon as they arrive at De Anza Park. The TD will be located at
the scorer's desk located between the backstop and 3rd base dugout at Field
1.
- The TD will collect (at least 1.5 hours before your
first game), review and hold team binders for the duration of the game. Please
be sure to include copies of each coach's Diamond Leader Training
certificate.
- The TD will conduct the coin flip on site as soon
as both managers check in. Winner of the coin flip will choose either
home/visitor designation or which dugout they wish to occupy. The loser of the
coin flip may choose the option not selected by the coin flip winner.
- Teams must provide two (2) RST baseballs to the TD
before the start of the game.
- Teams may use De Anza Field 2 or the backstop field
located to the south east of De Anza Field 1 for warmups UNLESS the field is
occupied by a permitted group. Contact the TD if you need assistance with
this.
- Batting Cages:
- Batting cages will open 1 hour prior to the
start of games and will close 15 minutes prior to the start of games.
- Only teams playing in that game may access the
batting cages
- Each team may occupy one lane
- Teams need to provide their own baseballs
- All players must wear a batting helmet in the
cages
- Please leave the cages cleaner than you found
them. Failure to comply will result in the closure of the cages for ALL TEAMS
for the duration of the tournament.
- Batting nets / Bownets may be setup in the area to
the north of the batting cages
- No artificial or handmade noisemakers are allowed
at any time. - This includes devices to produce things like "Walk Up
Music"
SNACK SHACK --
We will host a snack shack that
will offer burgers, hot dogs and other BBQ items, along with cold drinks,
chips, popcorn, mac n cheese, ice cream and various candy. We do ask that teams
and spectators NOT bring their own food to the
tournament facility.
Please encourage your team families and spectators
to visit the snack shack.
RESTROOMS --
Restroom facilities are located in
the park building to the north of De Anza Field 1. Follow the path that leads
away from the snack shack on the far side of the circular bowl. Please refer to
the
Field Layout for exact
location.
